There are journeys you remember… and journeys that change you.

The Cappadocia Horse Riding Tour – 7 Days / 5 Riding Days is not a standard riding holiday. It is an immersive equestrian expedition across volcanic valleys, Silk Road routes, riverside villages, and panoramic mountain ridges.

This multi-day horseback adventure is personally guided by Bekir Dilari, Turkish National Endurance Team rider, bringing professional pacing, horse management expertise, and authentic endurance riding principles to every stage of the journey.

If you are looking for a true horse riding experience in Cappadocia — beyond short tourist rides — this is the program designed for you.

DAY 1 – Arrival in Cappadocia

Arrival at Kayseri Erkilet Airport or Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport.

You will be transferred to our hotel in Avanos. Depending on arrival time, you may explore the town or relax before meeting Bekir Dilari and the group for a welcome dinner and tour briefing.

Dinner included.

DAY 2 – Avanos to Özkonak

After a traditional Turkish breakfast, we transfer to our ranch to meet the Arabian horses that will accompany you throughout the Cappadocia horse riding tour.

The ride begins toward Ziyaret Mountain, ascending to 1,450 meters. We pass historic flour mills and enjoy distant views of Belha Church.

Lunch is served near Özkonak Underground City, an ancient settlement carved into volcanic rock.

On the return route, we ride along a reservoir and follow the Red River (Kızılırmak). On clear days, Mount Erciyes dominates the horizon.

Daily pace is adjusted to group ability.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 3 – Avanos to Sarıhıdır

This riding day follows the banks of the Red River toward Sarıhıdır village.

Expect controlled galloping sections combined with relaxed riverside riding.

Upon arrival, horses cool off by the water while guests enjoy a picnic lunch.

On the way back, we pass a 13th-century caravanserai, a reminder of Cappadocia’s Silk Road heritage.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 4 – Avanos to Mustafapaşa

Today’s route explores White Valley (Ak Vadi), Paşabağ Valley, and Red Valley (Kızılçukur).

Fairy chimneys, dramatic ridges, and panoramic viewpoints define this section of the Cappadocia horseback riding tour.

Lunch is served in Red Valley before continuing to Mustafapaşa, historically known as Sinasos.

Horses are settled at our second ranch before returning to the hotel.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 5 – Mustafapaşa to Damsa

This stage of the 7-day horse riding tour takes us through Golgoli ruins and toward Damsa Dam.

We stop at the 6th-century Keşlik Monastery before enjoying lunch at a scenic trout farm. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Afternoon riding includes longer canter and gallop sections.

Approximate riding time: 5–6 hours.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 6 – Mustafapaşa to Avanos

Our final riding day crosses Pigeon Valley (Güvercinlik), Üzengi Valley, and Ortahisar.

After a panoramic stop, we ascend toward White Valley (Akvadi) at 1,500 meters altitude.

Open terrain allows energetic gallops before returning to our Avanos ranch, completing the circular Cappadocia horse riding journey.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 7 – Departure

After breakfast, airport transfer is arranged according to your flight schedule.

You leave with more than photographs — you leave with endurance memories and a deeper connection to horse and land.
