Cappadocia Horse Riding Tour – 4 Days / 2 Riding Days

Two Riding Days. Pure Terrain. Real Riding.

The Cappadocia Horse Riding Tour – 4 Days / 2 Riding Days is built for intermediate and experienced riders who want intensity without committing to a full week. This is not a relaxed sightseeing ride. It is a focused, terrain-driven riding program designed for confident riders comfortable at trot, canter and gallop.

Across two concentrated riding days, you will experience flowing riverbanks, open farmland, volcanic plateaus and the dramatic valleys that define Cappadocia. The pace adapts to group level, but forward riding and extended canters are an essential part of the experience.

Guided by Bekir Dilari, member of the Turkish National Endurance Team, this program follows endurance principles: balance, rhythm, terrain awareness and partnership with the horse. Expect responsive mounts, varied ground and dynamic routes that reward confident riding.

Who Is This Tour For?

This tour is designed for riders who:

  • Are confident at trot, canter and controlled gallop
  • Have previous trail riding experience
  • Are physically fit for extended saddle time
  • Prefer real riding over slow-paced tourism

This program is not suitable for beginners.

The Horses

You will ride forward, energetic Arabian horses selected for endurance capability and mental responsiveness. These horses are trained for varied terrain, steady contact and controlled speed. They are not passive trail horses — they respond, move forward and require confident riders.

DAY 1 – Arrival in Cappadocia

Arrival at Kayseri Airport or Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport.

You will be transferred to your boutique hotel in Cappadocia. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel, explore the surrounding area, or enjoy your first views of Cappadocia’s unique volcanic landscape.

In the evening, you will meet our team and the other riders for a welcome dinner and tour briefing. We will introduce the riding program, explain the routes, discuss safety procedures, and learn more about each rider’s experience level.

Because we organize separate riding groups according to riding ability, this first meeting helps us carefully match every rider with the most suitable horse for the adventure ahead.

Dinner included.

DAY 2 – Sword Valley, Rose Valley, Red Valley & Girls Monastery

After breakfast, we transfer to the ranch to meet the horses that will accompany you throughout your Cappadocia riding holiday.

Your first riding day begins in the heart of Cappadocia’s most famous valley system. The trail leads into Sword Valley, where narrow paths, carved rock formations, and natural stone corridors provide a spectacular introduction to the region.

From there, we continue through the beautiful colors of Rose Valley and the dramatic landscapes of Red Valley, passing panoramic viewpoints, fairy chimneys, and ancient cave churches.

The ride also includes the historic Girls Monastery, adding an important cultural highlight to an already unforgettable day.

The riding pace is adjusted according to each group’s experience level, allowing every rider to enjoy the route comfortably. Intermediate and experienced riders may have opportunities to trot, canter, and gallop where terrain, weather, and trail conditions allow.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

DAY 3 – Zemi Valley, Ortahisar, Pancarlık Valley & Üzengi Valley

Today’s route explores one of Cappadocia’s quieter and more varied riding regions.

We begin through Zemi Valley, known for its peaceful atmosphere, shaded trails, and impressive volcanic formations. The landscape constantly changes, offering a mixture of winding valley paths, soft riding terrain, and beautiful viewpoints.

The trail continues toward Ortahisar, famous for its impressive rock castle and authentic village atmosphere. From there, we ride through Pancarlık Valley before reaching Üzengi Valley, known for its natural springs, unique rock formations, and untouched countryside.

This route offers a wonderful combination of nature, traditional village life, and diverse riding terrain that many visitors never experience.

Separate groups ensure that beginners can ride at a calm and comfortable pace, while more experienced riders can enjoy active sections when conditions are suitable.

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.
